Message on Hold Equipment – Don’t be a dinosaur

Just like VHS tapes and keyboard ties, cassette tapes are likely going the way of the dinosaur sooner rather than later. Now’s a perfect time to upgrade your equipment, and maybe create a shiny new Message or Music on Hold production!

The WM1100 Message on Hold unit is an excellent equipment alternative to machines that use a cassette to upload the production. You can easily save your Message on Hold production from your PC or Mac to the USB flash drive and upload to the WM1100 within minutes.

Swapping out your current unit for the WM1100 is fast and easy.

  1. Unplug your message on hold’s audio cable from the old unit & plug it in to the WM1100.
  2. Unplug the power from the old unit.
  3. Plug in the power cable that came with the WM1100.
  4. Place the USB flash drive into an available slot on your computer. Either transfer what’s currently on the USB flash drive to your computer or delete it. Then copy the message on hold that you want playing onto the USB flash drive (note: whatever is on the USB flash drive will play, even if you have more than one message on hold production on the USB flash drive). After it’s done copying, unplug the USB flash drive from your computer and plug it into the WM1100.
  5. You’re all done! Make sure everything sounds ok by calling into your phone system and be put on hold. Adjust the volume of the message by turning the volume knob.

If you happen to have a power outage, the WM1100 will automatically re-boot the audio playback when power is restored.

If you decide to upgrade your Message on Hold unit to the WM1100, the equipment price is $175.00. To get started, or if you have any questions, please call Walsh Media at 800-359-6158.
