“Hello, we have a very important message for you.  …” click.

The greatest failings in these contact solutions occur when the limitations of a contact’s voice mail aren’t considered, either cutting your message short or starting to record in the middle. Also, people dread “robo-calls”, so you’ll need to make sure you’re saying the right thing in the right voice and language, using verbiage that will persuade a response.  Lastly, understand while the matter may be important to you, your customer may find it frustrating, and the message that’s never heard, doesn’t get through.
